Anyone have any idea why the left tensioner looks like that? it's brand new and was fine when put in. After 2 starts it has ended up like that.

I dont think you posted the correct pic
it's correct? what pic are you seeing, my naked shower pics?
Ok I suspect I found the cause. Prime your tensioner before installing, small but critical step. In a bowl of oil, put the tensioner in and press until it soaks up the oil and you cant press it anymore.

Ok, I thought you were talking about something else. Looked like a banjo bolt to me for something else...
