Proper Mechanic or Shop Western Washington
Hi guys, I've called a couple shops that are kind of close to my location. One never called me back with a quote after saying they would and the other one I was talking with the manager and he is extremely insistent in spending "an hour or two" doing diagnostic work on a problem that from my research needs no diagnostic work just a part. I basically told the dude "this is the p# I need replaced, I also need a full transmission flush and filter replacement. Whats your price" he kept trying to talk over me and never gave me an answer just kept saying "I don't take suggestions from anyone". Im only 26 but I know good and well that if someone is paying your fricken wages you do what they say and they can eat **** if they're wrong, I didn't ask for an opinion I asked for a body, tools, and time
My question is who in western Washington(closer to Olympia the better) is a good qualified mechanic that wont try to give me the shaft and just install the parts and do the service I tell them to?
Thanks for your time and input

I've heard a lot of good things about Whipplem104's shop. He's one of our MBworld members and posts fairly often.

I've never used him so be sure and do your own research.

Oly is kinda far, but my two shops that I trust: Adam @ MercedesGarage (now attached to park place) & Russel @ Mercedes Centrum. Both are in Bellevue though.
Which shop is Whipplem104's shop?

Yeah it seems all the qualified techs are up north at & past seattle. I've been doing research and will probably perform the full conductor plate, plug, filter, and solenoid trans service myself. I'm hesitant to do the radiator just because of how much you have to tear apart on the front end. But we'll see.
