2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
C55 CE Destroyed in Most Unfortunate Accident
While driving the C55 CE this weekend, my neighbor had the misfortune to strike the rear of another vehicle at 15 MPH or so. While a normal plebian fossil vehicle could have been repaired, the CE's reactor cracked and the car went into full meltdown. My neighbor is taking iodine pills, but it doesn't look like he will make it. It is my understanding that MBZ will include lead shielding for the vehicle occupants in future production units. This will, of course, bring the weight of the C55 CE up to 8,500 lbs, but should allow vehicle occupants to survive low-speed impacts.
