Panoramic Sunshade - Not the Roof

Noobie from Idaho here. My first MB is a 2002 c230 Kompressor with the panoramic roof. Yep. Neither the roof nor the shade work due to multiple problems. I am trying to remedy all that and it is compounded by a P.O. who had been into it before and had it totally screwed up.

The issue for now is the sunshade cables. I don't see them on the exploded parts diagrams. Are they a separate part number or part of some other part assembly? I found what I think are the right cables on eBay in Turkey for $90. The two cables each have clips molded onto the end and IIUC, the rod going across the end of the shade clips into them (apparently for the back shade). My clips were both broken off. But, with two cables and a clip on each end that only accounts for two of the four clips needed for both the front and back shades to work. In the parts diagram I see a right and left 2038950105/205 "coupling" that looks like they might be the other two (mine are both broken). But, how does a guy get the new coupling connected onto the new cable? They would have to attach onto the cable at a specific location for the shades to open and close simultaneously. I get that each cable has to move one side of the front and the other side of the back shade. But, I haven't been able to find anything on the internet that shows how it goes together. I bought a CD that is supposed to have the WIS on it but, haven't received it yet. I talked to a couple different MB parts departments. They didn't have much of an idea on any of it or where to find any info about it. One person did mention AR77.20-P-0221PB but, I can't find it on the internet. Anyone have it?

The MB shops have surely done this repair a zillion times as the sunshade design is so poor. Anyone have access to the technical info I need (and would be willing to share it)?

Thanks in advance.

You might be better off in the correct forum. I dont belive the c32 or c55 were offered with a pano roof.

I have never dealt with the Pano roof option so I am no help there. There are 2 w203 forums this happens to be the AMG section. keep scrolling down on the main page.
