Actually no, If engine draws more air ecu will sense that and compensate.
In that case, it will not run lean to that point it will get dangerous.
But, engine has been changed and need tune to give it´s maximum.
I ran without ecu tune with longtube headers for 10000kms, no problems or hassle.
but, now with ecu tune it´s ofcourse runnings harder.

Last I heard Kleemann USA is not producing headers anymore for the US market due to EPA and CARB cracking down on manufacturers producing "emissions modification" parts.
