2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
Looks and sounds alot like a current SLK32 AMG to me!
And how is this vehicle better than the current SLK32 AMG? It sounds to me like D.C. has taken the SLK32 AMG and rebadged it as a Chrysler Crossfire. . .
For my money, I would buy a used SLK32 (low miles, for around 40 grand), or spring for the new SLK55.

Two or three months ago, I drove by a Crossfire on a super-wide freeway overpass. To my eye it looked rather nice, (even with the flimsy looking wing out). But one tail light was out and the xenon headlamps were way out of alignment.
Said to myself, "yep that is the new Crossfire!"
But, I would rather they continue using the C32 motor than abandon it entirely. Odd that I'm hearing that AMG will assemble it for Chrysler though, that just ain't right.
Like I have been saying for awhile, there is not much to stop the bean-counters once they take over. They are always more interested in economies of scale than R&D. We will see where this takes us.

white and whiter
I'm feeling the overall package, but not the styling. That car will only sell when people can get over the image that they are buying a Chrysler for $45-49k even if it's built in Germany and parts shared with MB. Personally I wouldn't buy one for that price since the used SLK32 packs a even better package for a little less.
