Question suspension problem !!! clucking noise when goin over bumps

hey guys i just installed h&r cup kit on my 32amg and there is a clunking noise coming from the front two wheels when going over bumps ?? i installed everything rite cause a tech told me everything looked good. i have #2 spring pads in the front and my car sits very low, barely one finger in the wheel gap. do you guys think it's because it's to low ?? and i should get bigger springs pads or what ??

i have a feeling it's bottoming out but from my understanding, Cup Kits are designed so they don't bottom out so

Cant really tell by just reading your desciption, "clunking noise" is a bit too general. My wild speculation is the shocks are not tighten up properly or the springs do not sit properly.

No.2 pads in the front??? There are NO front pads on a W203, only the rear has spring pads.

Clunking going over bumps

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but I know that alot of people have had the bushings for the front sway bar replaced. They seem to go out about every 15K miles. I noticed mine especially when doing low speed tight turns and hitting a bump (like in a parking lot with speed bumps). It reminded me of the sound old Caddys make. I don't know why this would happen suddenly after having suspension work done, but maybe one of the more intelligent people in the crowd can answer that question.

Maybe

I think I know what it is.

Open the engine hood,
remove one of the 22mm suspension top bolts and
tighten the inner lock nut down "tight".
repeat on the other side.

These little lock nuts always need to be tightened after the fronts are installed and assembled.

Luckily it is very easy to do.
