93 Octane Setting

We have 94 octane fuel readily available in Western Canada, and I had my dealer set my car to the 93 octane setting. Are there any dyno or other documented power improvements by doing this?

From my understanding there is the standard setting, 91 and 93 from the factory. The highest octane fuel I have seen on the market anywhere is 94. There is no 98 octane setting from the factory and even if you could set your computer to 98, you would not be able to travel as this is not a common fuel type.

Did u feel any difference after the fuel setting? So the highest we can set it 93 octane right? I know that our highest octane is 94.
Anyway, i am from Vancouver too. Did u get the ecu fuel setting done at Boardway MB dealership? If you do than i might know who did it for u.

I bought the car in North Vancouver and had it set upon pickup. I had it serviced at Broadway and had them confirm that it was set to 93. Therefore I have always had it this way and I cannot tell if it actually makes a difference. I do notice that the car feels alot faster on colder clear winter days than on hot summer days, as would be expected.

(RON + MON)/2

standard fuel = 87
premium = 89
premium plus = 91
supreme plus = 93 or 94

something like this.......
