They'd look like real 19s if it was lowered a bit.

How long did you have to wait to get those wheels from the time you ordered them? I have the same set coming to me but its going on a 2000 W210. I have the fronts but they messed up the rears so i'm still waiting to put them on.

It took six weeks to get mine and HRE messed up. i had to send back the rears because they were hitting the brakes. I hope they can get they're **** together. I'm not real happy with them right about now.

when i got my wheels after 4 weeks from HRE, one of the rears had a faulty seal by pre-mature packing.. had to wait another week till they got it right.

You're lucky. they've had two of my wheels for a least a week now and they can't even give me a timeline. Every now and again I keep thinking whether I should have gone with some IForged. For the money i paid I'ma keep talking **** about HRE until they get it right. Funny how they can be so light about things after they get paid. I paid for these rims when they wanted the money and this is what i get. All i know is I got a bull**** excuse about "once in a while this happens and we'll take care of it in a timely manner" What the hell does that mean? i'm just glad you had better luck. now that i'm looking around i find that more a few people have had problems with HRE. Can't really blame the vendors, HRE--you all supposed to know you your ****!

AMG BRED, been wanting to ask you how does your cupkit ride and perform compare to the oem AMG shock and spring setup?

i don't have my cupkits anymore.. but when i had 'em.. i loved the ride, it was very similar to the factory ride if not a lil stiffer. But it was too soft for teh drop.

HRE I believe is the best wheel manufactuer around. Of course there are going to be a few problems with wheels once in awhile. No one is perfect, but I believe HRE is the one company near perfect. Wheel specs have to be exact, if your wheel dealer sends just a tiny incorrect specification the whole wheel could be wrong, or if you get the wrong offset or want something different from what your car needs. I have an E46 325, and plenty of people who get the size 19x9.5 have to roll the rear fenders because the wheel well isn't large enough to fit a 19x9.5. People automatically blame the wheel maker for the problem, instead of realizing that they did not do enough investigating for the correct wheel size, offset, etc. I am not saying that because you have a problem that it is your fault, and I am not saying that because you have a problem its HRE's fault. Problems do happen occasionally, and with HRE its rare from all that I've heard and known, so I am just backing HRE up, since I have never had a single problem with my wheels, or heard of anyone having a problem. Just my .02 cents...

P.S. SP6NT-get some damn coilovers already.

Yeah i guess you have a point there but when you pay in full for Wheels from one of the leading manufacturers, and have to wait 6 weeks to get them I would expect that they get it right. Sometimes I think I should have just bought another Rolex for what I paid for theses wheels. Okay, so they're fixing the problem but having to wait another 3+ weeks with no certainty that they'll get to me on time and even fit again doesn't make things easy. Put yourself in my position. How you gonna act? You got a fat balance on your card and two wheels that you can't use. Then what?

Problems like this shouldn't happen. Its not like they're new or anything to the game.

I put my story out there just so other members know what to expect.

I don't like the HRE's painted black like that IMHO, but to each his own. If you like them that's all that matters. For me, I'll stick with my 18" AMG two-piece wheels.

i just got my wheels on but i can't post pic's. How do you do that?

anybody got 19's? Do any of you who do rub on the front right wheel? Mine does, but only on that wheel. I can't find where it hits. Oh by the way i got a 2000 W210. anybody got idea on how to fix it? Its not hitting the fender, well it does a little but not bad, I know its hitting somewhere else? On the plastic in the wheels well?
