ESP error code

Were you driving straight, or doing an 80 MPH hairpin? Assuming you were going straight (new concept for you, right?), your car is going menstrual. Put a maxi in the tailpipe, and get her to the gyno-benzo-cologist as soon as possible.

I was going straight, and mysteriously after driving today with a few stops turning the car off, the light has disappeared. Oh well, I guess I will cancel my appt for service.

You might want to get it checked out, just in case. I think that some error code should show up on the MBZ computer to tell you what happened. You don't want your ESP going wacky in the middle of a sharp curve, or something!

I had an "ESP not available" code the other day, but it was the result of me disconnecting the battery to install a CD changer in the glove box. When I turned the car on that error came on. I used the ESP reset discussed in the manual (turn steering wheel all the way left, then all the way right) and the next day when I drove the car it was fine and the error code has been gone since.
If it came on while you were driving, you might want to have it checked out just to be safe. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

It has gone away, but now I have a coolant error code, that says see workshop. I am taking it in tomorrow.
This is not how I expected my first benz to work out. I never had a problem with my vette or Mazda, and I am only 2 weeks into the C32
