Anyone ever try to add a manual dickpit (place where the driver sits. I would call it a cocckkpit, but the **** net nannys will not allow me to use such vulgar terms) control to their engine cooling fan to force the engine cooling fan on, even with the engine off?

Would be great for the drag strip, allowing constant fan cooling with the engine off, instead of having to raise the hood to cool the motor after running the quarter.

turn on the car just for air conditioning to run (no engine start) turn up the fan speed to max and set the temps to HI with AC OFF ....that will drop your temps big time (watch the temp scale go down)

Yes I have done this to my other car. It very simple to do. It involves some simple wireing from the fan relays. It was very helpful at the track. only problem was it drains the battery very quickly.
