Any non C32 AMG Wheel to serve as Spare Only in trunk?
Hello everyone:
Can anyone recommend a non AMG 17X 7.5 wheel that I can buy to serve as a spare tire only to carry in the trunk. I got quoted $800 bucks
for an AMG wheel, looking for something cheaper to mount a replacement tire that will only serve as a spare while I get the AMG tire and rim fixed??
Will a standard C320 wheel do the trick???

r u serious? tho not cheap, an amg rim should be in the neighborhood of 400...add a tire, 150 maybe?...should be around 600...if u really don't care, then shop around ebay or this tsw sting may do the job

If you want cheap that will fit, and are not concerned about appearance matching the stock wheels, try the Flik wheels at edgeracing.com (specifically the "Lex" or the "Arctic"). Both are roughly $160/wheel and fit the C32.

Thanks all, but following up....
Standard 2002 AMG is 17X7.5 5-112 37offset...so what could be the effect of putting a 17X8 or 17X 7 instead. I cant find a 17X7.5 in the edgeracing.com site. Ive found an Antera 329 at Discount tire co. online
Is there something Im missing

I have the 17" x 8" Flik "Lex" and they fit both front and back with 245/40 tires.
Why the desire to exactly match the offset? As long as the thing fits (clears calipers and doesn't cause rubbing) and will get you home, what else is there?

Any problems with the equpment to secure the spare wheel and tire in the trunk like the shell, screws and bracket that holds the jact etc. Do they match up well with those wheels?
