check out my new 6-inch-drop lowering springs...

maybe it's a bit too low... I feel like a gangster drug-dealer now.

actually last night in the rain the ESP system freaked out and sent me into a snap oversteer while I was driving straight down the road! Let me warn

you... do NOT "disable" ESP and accelerate rapidly in the rain. I was minding my own business then in a matter of milliseconds I get snapped into a

45 degree oversteer going 35mph down a perfectly straight flat road. So as I'm countersteering, heading toward the curb, I aimed her perfectly

between a pole and light post. Unfortunately when I hit the curb, my position shifted and I ended up clipping the pole with the passenger door. I

hope she's totalled, I sure don't want this car back.

notice the passenger door airbag didn't deploy! This bothers me as that was the location of the impact and it was the most important airbag in this crash aside from the curtain above it, if I had a passenger.

I think that the passenger side has a weight sensor to determine if there is infact a passenger there at the time of the accident to see if airbags are necessary. If you didn't have a passenger, then most likely that's what happened.

There aren't sensors for the rear seat, so your door ones blew.

Glad to hear your alright, looks like MB did it's job in protecting you. Any injuries?

Yes, in some models there is a sensor strip in the passenger seat.

Glad to hear you're O.K. Pass A/B will not deply if no weight on pass. seat.

The C32 computer bitotch is a "nag hag." Just when you are starting to have fun, she shows up and faaaaarrrging ruins everything.

Then you try to turn her off, and she won't go away.

This happened on Beacon Street in Brookline. I think what happened was the ESP system slowed down my left rear tire very rapidly.

I wasn't wearing my seatbelt and I have no injuries at all, nothing damaged but the car itself.

Whoa finally I get to see the airbags and I am DISAPPOINTED !

They do NOT have "AMG" lettering !!

The least you might expect is to be comforted by these 3 letters after a crash ! MB wake up and get it fixed !

first, sorry for what happen and glad u are okay.

2. you are lucky to be okay without wearing the seatbelt.

3. what's up with two front 17x7.5 rims both on the left side of the car? and wat's with the fake looking "B" cap on the AMG rims.

4. the car probably will be totalled from the look of the condition as of now. The insurance will take possesion of the car if it's declared totalled and you will no longer own the car i believe.

5. lastly, you're C32 is F-ed...

Something must have been in the air last week in Boston. Friday I pulled out of my garage onto Purchase St and stopped at the Congress St light. A very large tractor trailer hit me from behind and pushed me into the car in front of me and kept driving for 10-15 feet. Front and rear heavily damaged. I had just put new CO, SSR 18s and a new grill on the car.

Frank, it only looks like the left rear wheel is 7.5" because the entire lip cracked off. Maybe it is 7.5" now, but two nights ago that rim was 8.5". And they are Brabus hubcaps... my last name starts with B.

Zepp, they are Hakkapelitta snow tires with 50% left, I had an appointment for Monday to take them off.

The owner of the towing co. + body shop said it might not be totalled because my insurance company in the past has repaired cars with up to 90% of the book value in damage.

The body shops love big damage jobs and they'll be trying to convince the insurance company to repair it but it isn't in the insurance companies best interest to fix up a car w/ 90% damage.
I hope they take this mess off your hands with a nice write off and cheque.

Good Luck

I had an Escort Wagon (circa about 1981, FYI.) and they did $9000 worth of repairs on a $11,000 car. So it does happen. I hope it goes your way eddie.

BTW, Mercedes put those electronic nannies on the car for a reason. USE THEM!

wow,

I am glad to hear you are ok. It is sad to see two boston c32's go. There are already too few as it is. Where do you live? I have tried with rain and ESP off and i would not try it at again. It is little but just enough to mess you up.

". And they are Brabus hubcaps... my last name starts with B. "

glad to hear your alright, its good to know you servived something as devastating as those pics.

im guessing the 6 inch drop had much to do with is rather then turning off your ESP. i've turned my ESP off during a rather hard t-storm and i still had full control

(no drops- YET)

anyway i couldnt help to read you put brabus hubcaps on your rims cause your last name starts with a B... thats funny cause mine does too and i was thinking of doing that even before i read your thread. i was actualyl aldo thinking of getting a lot of Brabus gear like (door lock pins, flat hoom emblem, trunk emblme, illuminated gear shifter) but hey i rather spend that much $$$ and get the ful SL55 intake thingy everyone seems to have already on their C32's
