The other day I tried the following. Parked at a stop street, I put the car in 1st. With ESP off and left foot on brake, I hit the acc pedal and the releases the brake. I had about 1200rpm on the dial. The car was just about to wheelspin when the ESP light (which was on) started to flash, and the car would not wheelspin.
Any one with an explanation?
