Test Drove 04 E55
They have a good warranty tuning program.
The big complaint is they treat ppl like crap.
Heavy is not that bad if you have C32 power.
It's a very respectable brand, like Rolex.
Everyone copies both companies.
I live in the Newport Ca Area and Brabus has the bling effect on the girls, so that a good thing as well.
Now I am defending Brabus on a MB board..sheessshh
I get cost at Brabus, so it's pretty affordable.

Their 20 inch wheels are very weak. I had a Brabus Full Conversion CL500 5.8L for a period of time and the wheels were always being dented over the smallest bumps on the road. RENNtech Monolite wheels do not dent but this Brabus had some seriously dented wheels and it was rather new as well. I sold the car for a heck of a deal (to the buyer) but he did have to buy a new set of 20 inch wheels.
Yes they back their parts when the fail but I still see them as a "all show and no go tuner" (motor builds aside of course).
So a CEO is out blinging his ride to get ladies? Come on! I hope you can find a woman without Brabus on the rear deck lid! My deck lids are always naked for I dont want women looking at the car (its just a "heap of bolts").
"No way would I put 40 pound wheels on a car"
and then admit to having 20's on a Benz..lol
edit, hopefully the mods got my message to delete the crap.

fact is i was given the car to sell and well it sold....
actually I had to "recondition" it and then sell it so I had the car for about a month and a half before it was sold. It needed some paint work, new tires, new brakes (now that stuff is NOT cheap) and various other items.
And no car I ever own will have 20's on it. Why not just get spinners at that point!
Brabus may look good but you have two types of cars:
1. Those that are for performance
2. All show and no go.
This brabus was a car with a motor build so yes it had power but not much more than my 2001 S55 had. But the fact still exists that Brabus wheels are not strong and they dent easily.
I have the Brabus B9 package that I paid a lot for, but I didn't buy Brabus wheels cuz it's too exbenzive. I now have forged wheels that weigh 22lbs each for the fronts and 24 for the back.
So now, I feel the power really good and good lord it's so fast. VROOMMMM VROOOMMMM. So fast like a monkey out of Fletcher Jones. clowns.
Brabus could easily make forged wheels for the fairly high prices they charge but for some reason they choose to stick to cast wheels. I bet one day they will bring a forged wheel to market but it still looks to be a ways away.
Cars can look great and improve performance but a car that looks good with reduced or nearly stock performance (with upgraded motor parts) seems questionable to me.
Any pictures of this B9 Brabus?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Sounds like it goes fast and looks good!

please, do correct me if i'm wrong and show some prove.

Have to argue with this point. Heavy wheels are never good. As was pointed out you loose acceleration/hp, have decreased ride quality and handling, increase stress & wear and tear on your brakes and suspension.
B9 kit?...HAHAHAH...here's his B9 kit (ENGINE COVER). I remember someone said he ask "the doc" if it has the real Brabus mod at one meet, and he said no, it's just the engine cover.
please, do correct me if i'm wrong and show some prove.

I rock Brabus and you clowns are too broke to rock it, just admit it..lol

Clowns, you tell me where you can buy a Brabus cover, and I'll sell my B9 kit and buy it.
I still doubt you have the Brabus camshaft, and valve springs. They should have a certificate from Brabus to prove that it has a B9 kit. Please do show us a picture or something. Your dyno graph works too. 239 peak horsepower from the B9 kit.

don't get me wrong, you have a beautiful car, but why pose as something it's really not.

wanna tell us what's included in the B9 kit?

Road and track can kiss my ***.
My real point is a 90K car better outdo a 55k car by alot, not a little.
... (Comment about E55!)Also, as Mr Vader13 said:
All I know is I am a little let down about all the hype the E55 had.
)... so I will, IN ADVANCE offer my apologies for my comment to the Doc... I've seen his other postings...--on one he almost swallowed and pooped a guy that bought some stuff from him and said something "bad" about the stuff he got from the Doc!-- and when he gets mad... he grabs his car and runs you down like a bug!!!... then, I will the smashed bug on his windshield!!!Mr Doc here will LOVE the next generation S class cars which Mercedes Benz intends them to be the FIRST production car steered by a stick (also know "steer by wire")... right now that car is available for testing at the AMG factory in Affalterbach, Germany and its VERY impressive... feels like you are driving a video game! (mr SilvaC32 --Jerry that is--, you can now stopd playing your video game and play with the car itself!!!) ... lol... (stick is mounted on the center console... and it appears that it will say there
)I am impressed of the 4runner dude, CEO, COO, etc, etc, etc of his lemonade stand as being part of the forum!!... good to see people like to visit the MbWorld!
--as I watched the forum for last year before I decided to recetnly join the fight!...haha --
From the posting back and forward with Mr "lemonade stand" and so on..
:Hopefully in the next few months, your mod list on your 4 Runner will fill up an entire page of posts, so I can just ignore your a$$.

The problem is, I am going to get raped by Mr Puke... oh no!.. it is Mr Vomit!!.. remember you guys... he is supposed to be a good argumentative guy, he is a lawyer!!!... if Puke comes after me... I'throw him something of his own medicine, my wife!! (another lawyer!! haha!!!)
It seems the Doc has some "proving" to do to the forum on his B9 kit... maybe this Saturday we can put those rumors to rest at the gathering at the Rosebowl in Pasadena... Mr Doc, if you live far away... you can have your car flown in... OR.. he is so rich he doesn't have to... (rich people think that... or so I've been told
)Now, I am gonna get creamed...
Wiedermann
Steer by wire, no way,, that sounds insane..
Doc will have to get the replica version..
HAHAHAHAHAH LMAO
I love this guy!
:p
you still have one hot looking car btw. mucho improvement off from your old w124.
yo Doc, u going to the meet on the 8th? I'll check out your car in person then and put my doubt to rest.

As for my B9, there's nothing to see but a cover.
I didn't know there was a meet until today.I doubt that I'll make it though.
