C32 vs C55 times...what the ?
From 0-100 kmh sprint the C32 and the C55 will be about even (if both drivers are equal of course).
From a rolling start the C55 will slowly pull away from the C32 due to more torque.
The difference is there, but it is a small difference, it will not blow you away.
The only thing that will blow you away is the C55 awsome sound !

The insignificant power loss that is proposed in using the V8 does not out weigh the higher sales figures speculated. I am sure MB also want to compete psychologically with other Marques in the same league that now offer V8's. I believe that MB would also decrease sales figures for the model since buyers of MB would not want to share the same engine as found in the Crossfire. If some Jag S Type owners new that their engines were made by Lincoln, they would not be very happy about it. Fortunately for Jag, most owners would never think of asking the question as this is not why they select a Jag.
As a value play, yes. But, I bet a SCed C55 would be faster and handle much better than the E55.
I doubt that. that'll only makes the C55 nose heavy w/ the added supercharger weight. It would be faster, but probably won't handle as well as without the supercharger.
where can i find more info on the SC for the C55 engine? i went to Kleemann's site and couldnt find it
It would be the same as the W209 CLK55:
Kleemann Kompressor CLK 55 K
Basis: Mercedes Benz CLK 55 AMG
404 KW / 550 BHP - at 5800 rpm
710 NM - from 2000 rpm
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
