Hi, the engine block needs to be machined & re-sleeved. Existing conrods have been modified (by previous owner), basically stuffed up everything. Bought new set of original pistons, thus need original specs for block machining and have rods custom made to original specs.

Mercedes blocks are NOT sleeved. The bores are aluminum and have been treated for durability. Do not hone or bore a Mercedes aluminum block unless you have the proper equipment to provide the correct finish.
You'd likely be money ahead to grab a used engine and stuff it in there.
