My next new car will be a Lotus Elise. I have had a deposit down since last fall and hope to see my car around the end of this year.
Who'd you put your deposit with? Someone in the area?

I want a Miata with an NA engine.

Assuming the C55 isn't too front-heavy and handles okay, and it's still around in 10 years (not bloody likely), I'll get one after the Miata. Otherwise, whatever the next C55-iteration is.

Well if that is the case, I guess I will just have to order what ever M moniker car is available in a two door based on the next generation 3 series, of course with a V8. It makes no business sense for BMW not to release a M variant of the successful small chassis cars.

The C32 is quite sporty these days!

I can always tint the front windows of the Mitsu so no one can see the old man driving the car! Then again, I will be traveling at 1g around the bend and no one will be able to see me anyway...

There is speculation that the MR will never make it to the States. In addition, with no further grand cash infusion, Mitsu may pull its entire auto business out of the States. They still make a good TV though... Some dealers will take a deposit with no assurances that the car will arive. Might have to settle with an equally impressive STI with a euro 2.0ltr motor!

That'll be the next M3. Should arrive with a NA V8.

Nothing
My lease is up in only 2.5 years from now. But if I was to replace it now (and I had the cash) it would definately be a CL55. That is just the most beautiful car for me. Otherwise I would have bought the C55 now.

Dunno for now, I'm gonna keep my C32 for at least 3-4 years I guess. Later on, I might go for a C55 or a used S55/CL55 AMG

I admit I've been bitten by the rally car bug as well. As some on this board know, I have a pretty heavily modified WRX. My wife would tell you I'm pretty deep into the WRX as well. There are so many great options in terms of modifications it's hard not to sink money into it.

Criswell Lotus in Gaithersburg, MD.

BTW...I'm keeping the C32 forever. It makes a great family hauler and mine has been virtually trouble free.
