722.6 trans flush
Any info would be greatly appreciated. 2006 C55 with 90k,purchased it 5 or 6 years ago with 60k. Went on a road trip to Atlanta and round trip was about 800 miles. Car Sat for a week or more and moved it and noticed a puddle of tran oil on garage floor long story short I’m fixing leak but when I dropped the pan I noticed there wasn’t a magnet in pan. I believe there’s supposed to be one right? Stupid question right? The inside of pan is very very clean to my surprise so my thought is maybe they forgot to put it back when it was changed before I got it. Again any info anybody has on draining fluid and how to put back in other than the obvious trans tube would be great! Cheers!

Out Of Control!!
Don't assume all spammers know what they are talking about--not all models have magnets---to confirm post your VIN or visit any dealer-------regarding the correct information on a flush, visit startekinfo.com all will be clear.

You’ll need dipstick 140 589 15 21. Drain from pan, remove pan, change filter. Drain bolt torque is 20nm. Oil pan bolt is 8nm. Fill thru dipstick tube and initially fill with 5 liters. Trans should be fully warmed up, run thru r and d 5 times and then adjusted as needed.

Pan filter magnet
EPC and WIS are contradictory. EPC shows the drain plug, WIS says it was deleted in Sept of 1999 for cost reasons. EPC shows active part number for magnet. WIS deletes reference to magnet specific to your VIN instructions, but does say it was added on ‘01. I do not have torque drain plug on my ‘05. I did dig thru my pics - and do have a magnet. My apologies for the confusion.
