Benzaddict32, thank you!
Just want to add the price had to be changed to $390.00. It takes a bit longer to mod these amg boxes, and with shipping fee, PayPal fee and material it just adds up.
If you send your box and the chrome amg logos are not in good condition, I can paint them the same color as the box. Or I can replace the logos with flat black or chrome. These will be aftermarket but reviews on the logos are good. Just let me know if you will need this done as well.
This week I will be working on a box I purchased on Ebay. If you do not want to be without your car I can send you mine and you send me yours. Benzaddict32 took this option and will be sending me his as soon as he switches over the engine builder plaque.
Thanks for the supports guys.

Just got this from eBay from a low mileage car. It has K&N filters inside in really good shape. It also comes with the plactic tubes. If you're interested in buying it out right contact me.
Price is $585.00 Modded and sent to your door. Please note, I cover $45.00 for shipping within the USA. If shipping comes out to say $65.00, you cover the 20. Thanks.

I received my air box from George a week ago. Have now had some time to drive my C55 and let the ECU adjust.
Impressions-
Very nice build quality. No seams, hot spots, or jagged edges.
Immediately noticed improved throttle response, especially from 30mph up.
Smoother and more linear power delivery. Overall an improvement over the stock air box just based on driving it before and after. .
No dyno numbers to confirm, just a seat of the pants feel. Not scientific, as I was not seeking that type of validation, but I am very satisfied with the results.
I have a sharp blind curve coming out of my sub division and most times I really have to punch it to avoid getting hit.
The first day I installed the modded box and pulled out onto the main road, I could instantly tell that it pulled stronger than the stock air box. No hesitation, just a great rush of power.
George was great to work with. He responded promptly to all of my questions, shipped fast in a well packaged box. Very nice guy to do business with, IMHO.
I can't speak for anyone else, but for the cost spent compared to a new Renntech box, I am very happy with my purchase.
And as an FYI, I have owned and modded over 10 Mercedes AMG's since 2005 and feel this mod is a great "bang for the buck", again IMHO.
Thanks George.

Nokiemon, thank you for that review. I love it when customers give examples of how something modded compares to stock. I appreciate you mentioning the shipping box, took me so long to put it together. Haven't found the right size box yet so have to make my own.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Check out RENNtech airbox for C55 AMG. They are very nice, carbonfiber, and you can always get their tune.
ON the other hand, the C32 AMG is who needs a nicer airbox to allow more airflow around the plenums and at the throttle body

Yes but I do not have any, sold them. I will have to buy one or you can send me one. I will make the c55 box fit the c43 but you will have to run the air tubes from the box to the front of the car.
But so you know, the c55 box will not make more power than the c43 air box. Buy my c43 air box and the modded elbow and your set. I can paint the c43 air box the same color of the c55, that would look awesome! Send me your front engine cover so I can match the air box and it will look really nice. Up to you, send me a PM.
Thanks.

I have a finished one for sale. If I don't sell it here it will be going to eBay. I'm also going to include the maf housing which I port the bottom part to match the wider opening of the elbow. I removed the rubber seal that's in between the maf and elbow and I made both pieces into one. So no need for a rubber seal there ever again. Solid fit with no air leaks ever. Air will flow much better with the maf ported to match the elbow. I will be painting this setup the same color as the air box. I will post pictures Monday or Tuesday.
Anyone interested send me an email or pm. Thanks.
