Big oil leak from the rear(nor rear main seal)
So a friend of mine did my rear main seal but the I still have an oil leak.
he looked at it and he says in coming from the back or the side of the motor towards the back. Its a decent size oil leak so its definetly not a valve cover gasket.
what else is back there that can leak? I wanna start looking into it but I wanna have some sort of idea what to look for.
The oil drops to the floor underneath the car just on the back of the oil pan.

the housing that the rear main sits into leaks over time, its unfortunate if you just did the rear main, because this is a common issue that needs to be addressed on all these cars 112-119.
you can reseal it with rtv(will need a new rear main) or just buy the housing with a new rear main already in it(what most of us do at the dealer)
