My take on Fender for W203
This is my take on them. No vent/holes to prevent the ricey/tacky look on them. They were made of ALL metal.

What I arranged with my body shop is this deal. You send him your fenders and he will do the work for you for 800 bux. He of course is working with metal(hence you sending him YOUR fenders). It took me a LOT longer to get these fenders on my car than I thought because I wanted OTHER people to take advantage of a better price, otherwise these puppies woulda been on my car in the begining of the year. So if you guys are interested post replies and I will post contact info. You can do it 'classic' style with the holes and sheit or just like mine. Coming up this week is my version of the Brabus CV8 hood. I should be able to have that available to you guys too.

oh well car looks nice
you have the same exact style as the Lorinder F1 fenders
which flows very well with your rest of body kit
i saw your car at the show i was there too
where did you get it done? it was more expensive than mine~

The SMS fender is fiberglass and offers a wider interior fender well for larger wheel fitments. Does your metal version do the same? I don't know how it would if you use the stock fender unless the shop reworks the stock fender and adds metal to the wheel arch. Otherside he must cut out a portion of the fender at the air vent locations and reattach from inside for support. Interesting though. I personally think that if you are going to provide a front fender with the look of air venting, you should have the air vents. Otherwise it looks like a kit that is not functional. Similar to how the rocker panels would look if you plugged the screen holes solid. I would personally rework the stock fender to provide a wide body look without the air vents as they are not intended to be functional in the W203 as no air is vented through the holes from the engine bay or through the front valance.

AMGRider on your car it does not look rice nor tacky in reference to the vents. It compliments your car's wide body and people KNOW you are packing serious ponies in your car so it all makes sense to have vents. You and the blue wide body C Class have the wide bodies down SO GOOD that it aint even worth it to throw our hats into the wide body competition. That is why I went no vents. My car is normaly aspirated and I am having the CV8 hood in and a couple other things put in so I didnt want to risk my car looking like 'Holes on wheels'.
600 dollars is a bargain man. I would jump on that. The guy I have will work on the fenders sent to him(if you are in LA he will also install)thus giving back a metal NOT fiberglass fender. You can also get vents if you please.
Sun, AMG rider PLEASE check your pm
