Question about battery voltage

Question about battery voltage
What should it read when the car has been sitting overnight?
Should it always read 12-13V?
my car needs to be jumped in the last two days.
i jumped it today, drove for 10 mins then shut if off. The power read 12.7 that time.
Today in the morning it had enough juice left to run through the cluster and check things but it wont start although yesterday it was compltely drained. I didnt check the voltage today before jumping the car tho

Car has been starting fine since last two times.
Battery read 12.6 before starting the car today and went up to 14+ during startup.
Ill see if I can have the battery tested somewhere but i have a feeling its the alternator

So my wife drove the car today and she said when she came back to the car the fog lights were flashing. Now that I think about it, I think I saw this once too but did t make much of it.
this could be happening wth my car over night occasionaly and draini g the battery.
why would the fogs flash?

Im pretty sure the battery is good but Ill check.
I was gonna do the voltage regulator anyway but Im pretty sure the flashing lights are draining my battery.
I narrowed that issue down to a car siren which has a 10 year life lithium battery in it as a backup power source for some reason. After ten years or sooner sometimes the battery starts to leak and it causes some minor electrical issues.
Btw did you buy a new car yet?

Those are nice cars.
Theres too much to choose from out there nowadays. I wouldn't know what to get if I was on the market for another fun car
