When the C55 hits it's going to be a case of supply and demand, and unless your dealer is a family member, ppl are going to get raped.

SL55 owners..sheeshh
Can't we all just get along???

But since it was for the wife, I thought I was better off getting her the C32 and spending the savings on tricking it out. anyway, here's her C32 w/ 18" SSR GT3s, H&R coilovers, Evo I&II (minus headers), Bi-xenons and painted side markers. She woke up and saw it this morning and was thrilled:
Can we get more pictures? Sideview?

Sweet ride..

Here's another pic. The car pulled hard on some M3s today. I wasn't trying to race, but I wanted to see what it could do.

Pricing for C55
My dealer just called today and said he has the pricing for the C55. He said with everything (i.e., Brilliant Silver, Command, Light Package) the car will be about $60K.

I missed his call today (as I came back from the Giants vs. Redsox game and my Redsox lost...damn!) but will call him Sunday to confirm his price.

He said he can have my C55 in 2 months! His dealership has already ordered one!

Anyone else get any pricing yet or is this guy yanking my chain?

Told ya, I have friends at 2 MB dealers here in So Cal and they are gonna stick it to ppl at around 60K

Might be different in other parts of the states though.
So Cal has a high demand for new body BNZ's especially AMG's

On a SL65 there is only so high the roof can go and a limited number of ppl who can actually purchase that car.
On a C55 it's really anyones game so the competition will be fierce.

They are still raping ppl on the E55 in so cal, especially used ones.

Yea, i know how the California dealers usually stick it to people. It's just cuz of all the actors and show business folks and athletes and other people who have alot of flow.....$$$$. A suggestion is to order one from a dealer in another state and pay the $1000 to ship. So that way you only pay $1000 over sticker.

I spent a few hours waiting at a detailing shop in the morning. The drive back from Evosport left my front end caked with bugs.

I'm not sure exactly how much Evosport dropped it. I believe 1.5 inches. The H&R coilovers are perfect. The car handles well and the ride is not harsh at all.

Yes, the Kleemann blowers are CARB certified, or they were on the list as of 2002. I don't think they have been decertified.

Thanks... here's the C32 in my wife's parking space.

I only have 3 spaces, so here's my bone stock CL (that I don't really like) that got displaced:

WOW! Friday! You must be sooo excited!

I spoke to my dealer last week and confirmed mine is due in September. Damn, June is just flying by! Sept. should come pretty fast.
