Newbie with some questions
Hello everybody,
I recently purchased a C55 AMG it has been a fantastic car so far, got a killer deal on it. But it does have some issues, I wanted to ask some of you with more experience than me about.
1st issue
Car shifts hard from 1st to 2nd when cold, it works perfectly after some minutes. Luckily I work at a European car performance specialist, talking to our in-house mechanic, he said it sounded like it could be a transmission solenoid, looking at the car records it showed it had a similar issue in the past but from 2-3rd a Mercedes Benz dealer quoted for a transmission replacement but seems like the owner went another route, the explanation was written out on paper but honestly I cannot figure out what was written. The problem was reported about 4 years ago, and there is nothing that shows that the transmission has been replaced. At the moment we are swamped at the shop so it is going to take some time before we can take a look at it. For now, I am just curious as for what could it be.
2nd issue
When I start and shut the car off, the car makes a clicking sound that comes from under the dash, the previous owner try to explain it to me but honestly, I don't think the understood the issue very well. This does not affect the car in any way but it is kind of annoying.
Other than that it is all good so far.

C55 AMG T with Kleemann K2 and some stuff: 414 hp and 562 Nm :-)
