Swaybar Bushings, linkage
The dealership said that it would cost a few hundred to replace the swaybar bushings including labor...
you guys said that this would get rid of my squeaking sound...
is this worth it??? does this squeaking possibly mean that something is loose and that my car has a defect mechanically? or is this simply noise?

BS!!!!
SORRY! I wouldn't let MB off the hook that easily. I'm probably going in for the 2nd set (mine seem to fail every 20k kms) with STOCK SUSPENSION --pss-9s going in soon, hopefully.
I would tell your dealership to contact your area supervisor and get them to clear up MBs "Design Flaw". Ask them how many "other" stock bushings/linkages they have replaced.
If you want to start a list to see how many members have had this problem so that you can defend your position, you can count me in.
It really rubs me the wrong way (Pun intended) when a Company tries to take advantage of their Customers due to their own fault.
C'mon Benz, let's keep the star shining
