C55 amg nitrous

C55 hood vs clk hood

Considering a CF clk hood for my c55.

I've heard mixed things about a clk hood fitting onto the c55, some say it's an exact fit. Others say the c55 hood is longer. Anybody know the answer definitively?

Part numbers are slightly different between the two cars.

C55 Hood
203-880-08-57-28
2004 to 2008 w209 Hood
209-880-00-57-28

Thanks for the information.

I know the clk front bumper fits, I'm just not sure about the hood. Hate to be a $1,300 mistake lol

2006 C55 - 2005 C230 - 1998 E36 M3

The dimensions are the same. The only difference is that the C55 hood has the notches to screw in the upper chrome part of the grill and the CLK ones doesn't because it's using a one piece grill instead of a two piece that the C55 is.

2006 Mercedes-benz C55 AMG

I'm not sure about the hood but I was told clk fenders fit so I got a 2006 clk55 amg fender and they are completely different they are a inch longer buy the door and the shape is different buy the door and body line because it's a couple and a c55 is a sedan different door shape but the hood mite be the same and if it is different I think you could make it work pretty easily buy drilling new holes I dont see anything that would not make it bolt in or just little mod to the hood.

I installed the hood from Prior Design for the CLK. Had to mod the mounting at the hinges.
