hmm...i thought they would have the white face gauge.

the front seat looks nice, but notice the rear doesn't have the AMG embeld logo.

Looks nice! Upright star needs to go however and CL grill is needed. I do prefer the front end of the current C32 however.

I am noticing suede embedded in the seats... that IS suede, correct?

If so, I think it looks great. In fact, the C55 itself looks beautiful.

kool

anywayz, this car don't raise my interest as much as the C32 did. The only feature I really really like is the steering wheel shift buttons.

Very close, it's alacantra, kinda like suede but lasts longer and won't get dirty as easily.

Headlights, wheels, seats, pedals and dual exhaust look great.

Instrument cluster is slightly better but still looks cheap.

Not a fan of the grill, 3 spoke wheel, rework of the dash electronics or lack of a super charger!

Intresting but a pointless change IMHO. They should have waited for the complete redesign and given us a tunable motor.

The original C55 was a real monster and a serious step up from the C36. I never thought the C43 was the same level of car as the C36(I skipped that generation and gladly kept the C36). The C32 brought things back around and was in fact a monster. The new C55 just appears to be a step sideways to simplify engine production, stick a bigger badge on the back and keep up with the current trend to put V8s in these cars.

This is a great way to increase sales to the mainstream buyers who count the most but a real bummer to those of us who want to tune the car! V8? I don't want no stinking V8 unless it has a blower!

Wouldn't have been a good marketing move but I would like to have seen an SCed V6 in that car and an SCed C55 with some serious interior, suspension and brake upgrades like the old C55. Maybe a limited production AMG with a high price point. I would pay just short of E55 prices for such a car as I love the E55 but it is just too big for my needs!

That being said....the new C55 is a very nice car and worthy of the AMG badge even if it isn' t my cup of tea!

Now, where do I get C55 seats?!
