Custom intake, kleemann headers(swapping to Moscow Supercharge headers) x pipe, no cats, no res, air injection delete, EGR delete. EC tune. Should be making more now on E70 and my new tune, also changed my filter setup. Looking to get Cat cams soon also.

2010 Mercedes Benz GLK350 4Matic 3.5L
bump !
We are about to release a K conversion kit that will allow all M113 motors to run the K supercharger on the factory 6 rib belt. its basically a pulley kit with a factory K ECU and wiring harness.
The M113 is easily capable of making over 500HP with the e55 stock blower. Without going into too much detail i can say one of the prominent 55k Guys runs NA motors in most of his K cars.

I too would love to just throw a 55k blower on my C55 and call it a day with a kit, but I thought the compression ratio of the 55 N/A cars was too high to reliably run more then 5-6 psi of boost.

$800 starting price, but quickly jumps to $1,875 after you correctly option out the kit. You also still need to find a factory used blower in good condition.
Super interesting, but I still have a lot of questions.

They have this on their website:

VRP trash. Your best best is swapping a complete 113k setup into your car. They also make longtube headers for c55s. Since it’s me2.8 a straight swap isn’t that hard, there are plenty of 113k engines for sale.
#62
Seems they can handle 500whp. Adding a 113k blower, I am sure your car would make 370 to 400whp in a stock setup.

Whatcha got against VRP? This the the first I've heard someone trash them.
As for long tube headers for the C55, I can't find any under $1,500.00.

Well I guess just like the rest of the vrp fanboys, I see that you are cheap. When you work on Mercedes’ all day everyday, every time you come across something from vrp is junk. You won’t find any quality headers for under 1500$ other than the Chinese headers on eBay for E55s.
Don’t be cheap when it comes to modifying a Mercedes’.

Best example is LS engine. You can buy Amazon upgrades or a higher quality more expensive one, but if there is close to no competition you can sell junk for reasonable price since there is no other option.
VRP has a very good business model for the short term. Long term advice make quality parts, spare no expense and stick around.

I follow the "Harbor Freight Rule"
If I need something basic that has minimal moving parts (A pry bar, a screwdriver, or headers) then best price wins.
If I need something complex (A power tool, a ECU tune, etc) then quality wins every day.
The CLK and C55 are now cars worth $5k - $15k. Gotta throw some budget friendly items in there to be smart.

All I can say is that I have purchased plenty of Chinese LS headers that you can’t get spark plug wires on. They look great sitting on the engine though. Hopefully the vrp headers fit h the e car without modifications.

It's just a little suspicious that someone named "eurochargedw210" (Eurocharged is another vendor) is trashing VRP who up until this post seemed to have a good rep on the forums.
Ironically it was someone with an Eurocharged tune who blew their lightly modded engine recently. That raised some eyebrows.
As for quality, Renntech cuts a stock airbox in half, adds a top layer of carbon fiber, and sells the intake for $1,500.00. Dinan sells a stock "non vanos" 540i manifold as a "Dinan high flow upgrade" for the "vanos" e39 540i. Dinan also was bashing in the frame of Z8's to fit their custom headers when the Z8 first came out which causes structural issues.
My point is all these tuners have issues from time to time. I'm just glad to see them trying to support enthusiasts. And if we're going to bash a company, let's post facts.

When you work on as many Mercedes as I do, you see what parts are good and bad.

a na amg 113 from a slk55/c55/clk55 with a 113k supercharger in stock formation makes 488whp. You are right about vrp only 1% of the parts they sell are made by them
#73
The vrp kit is the same price as swapping all the parts over from a 113k and 90% of there parts they get from china or other people.
