CLK55/SLK55 4 pot rears - should these bolt up?
I have a W209 2003 CLK55 (which should be the same as the C32/C55 cars) and am going through the process of fitting the later 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears. The kit I bought came with used calipers, rotors, pads.
Fronts have gone on fine, but the rear caliper does not seem to be centering on the rotor properly.
A couple of questions:
- Is this a known issue?
- What is the cause? Are the hubs different between 2003/2005?
Mechanic is saying that the rotor is too far inward and there is not enough space for the internal pad. The fitment is close, and the caliper does bolt to the hub fine, but it is around 2mm further in than would be ideal.
Suggestions?

Thanks for getting back Zayed. All fitted now, with the old pads.
The parts supplier seems to have supplied the wrong part - their part was too thick. I cross checked the pad they were selling and it was different to the pad everybody else was selling. They refunded me.
I will run the used pads for now and make sure I get the correct pads when I replace.
