C55 Track day preparation
Booked a track day on June 7th with the C55 at Portland International Raceway. Top speeds should be under 130mph and passing is only allowed on the main straight and the back straight so it's not full out race pace. I have a couple of weeks to prepare and so far I've come up with this:
Oil change done 500 miles ago
Tires are good, 1yr old Indy500s with about 10k on them, worn evenly, going to retorque everything just to be safe
New front pads/rotors 14k ago in the front, pads still look meaty, going to do the rears before the track day, started hearing them squeal on cold days.
Going to replace brake fluid and bleed all lines
Going to do a transmission fluid drain/fill, what fluid is recommended?
Going to do a rear diff drain/fill, what fluid is recommended?
Anything else I should take into consideration?
