My C32 has a valeo radiator however, the date on the top of the radiator is early 2005 (21/01/05).
The part number on it is A 203 500 39 03 and the valeo part number is RA 1415 876954V A.
Is this an affected radiator despite being later than 2003 or is the issue rectified?

id change it just coz the amount of damage they can cause if something does go wrong.....radiators are cheap compared to gearboxes...

Behr is good option

What the 2nd owner of my car installed. I think most go w/ this option. Behr makes a solid product, it really sucks a faulty radiator causes this to happen. I had every intention of replacing when I bought my car and could not believe my eyes when I stumbled across a record for the new radiator and flush.

Don't risk it mate and you will always be wondering if your like me. Good luck

Hi all,
I understand that the radiator is made by valeo however, it was definitely replaced at some point as my car was built in 2002. I had read somewhere that later Valeo radiators were okay and I was just seeking clarification on this but I might replace it incase it is not. Moreover, the part number and date I mentioned was wrong, I had misread it, the correct number on the radiator is A 203 500 39 03 and it's actually an early 2005 dated radiator.

I personally would not feel comfortable running a radiator produced by Valeo around this timeframe. The cost of replacing is prob worth putting your mind at ease if your like me; I think you are. We try to justify these type of things, but it will inevitably plague you my friend. God forbid if something were to happen.
