Can anyone post a pic of the cup holders in the new C55?
Maybe BlackC320 could? I know he just got a new C55.
Reason why I ask is because I was wondering if the 2005 CLK55 will have the same interior as the new C55??...where will the cup holders be? Is there one in the center console near the center arm rest, like in the W211 E-class?

Cup holder is at the same place as pre-05, just different mechanism.

Im going to take some pics today, & i'll take one of the cupholder. The only thing i dont like about it is that it does not have a cover on it, you see the actual cup holder, were in the C32 it had a cover.

I took a bunch of pics today. But not to many of the interior. But this one shows it. The cupholder is right where my cell phone is in infront of the armrest.

Was the cup holder always in that spot in the C class?
Wondering if the new CLK interior will get that cup holder. God I hope so. Thats alot better than the one I have now. Does that cup holder pop out? Strange that it has no cover on it, like in the E class.

Yeah its in that spot in all W203 C-classes. The cup holder does pop out and swivel so u can hold 2 cups. I also dont get why it does not have a cover on it like the older c classes and even what my c230 had. But i kinda like it empty since in my old car i did not have nav so i would keep my cell phone under the radio. But now that i have nav if the cup holder was always closed i would have no where to keep my cell phone. So it actually works out ok.

I actually prefer the placement of the CLK cup holder on the upper left side of the glove compartment. The C-class cupholder location obstructs my manual transmission shifts.

hell w/ the manual trans. it's even hard to use the auto lever w/ drinks in that place.

I prefer the cupholder placement from the old SLK.

feel lucky that you don't have the cheap unusable cupholders found in the SL55 that make your music a little on the wet side at the first sight of a bump... Who needs them anyway. I have become very proficient at driving with my right knee as I hold my coffee in my left hand, my PDA in my right hand, and my cell phone leaning between my right ear and shoulder...

I dont ever bring drinks/food in my car anyway, so the cupholder is only for storage.
