Are standard spark plugs bad for these motors?

Anyone tried using a standard copper plug on c32 or c55?

looking at plugs across the board, mostly NGK, Denso or Bosch, you can buy high quality copper plugs or platinum tips that are good for 30-50k rating usually around 1-3$ per plug, compared to 7-11$ per precious metal plug. FCPeuro has the ngk standard copper for 1.94$ each which are then lifetime warranted. Paying 31$ for all 16 and then getting free replacements doesn’t sound like a bad deal IF they don’t negatively affect performance AND you don’t mind changing them out that frequently, which I don’t.

anyone out there run a standard plug on either m112k or m113? If so what have the returns been, mpg, feel, power, longevity etc?

thank you,

Has anyone ran a Standard or V-power plug or something similar?

Follow up:

I changed out Bosch double platinums for Ngk standard today in recommended heat range, bkr6es-11. No changes in performance thus far, start up was same along with all other values. Will track for a few weeks and update, posting YouTube update this weekend as well on install/changes etc.

It will only be to do with recommended plug life, normal plugs should work fine, just need changing more often.

Yes, the lifespan was the obvious change, others had questioned whether they would over strain coil packs, cause slower start ups, delay throttle response or cause loss of power. That is where the peak of interest began, knowing many engine builders for track/race application prefer standard plugs, I wanted to see how they performed in these engines since it seems nobody else has done so.
