Question

Are those all OEM lights?

I've never really liked the stock AMG rims. I'm not a big fan of the many-spoked look. But that's just me!

I definately think you should change the wheels.
I just has to be different from the other C32's. Depends on budget though.

You mentioned, you like the Superlegerra, a bit more japanese, but you should try the Superleggerra III. VERY VERY nice, it comes in a gunmetal color, perfect for your car.
Then lower it even more with lowering springs for asthetics and then tint your windws and you're set.

Just my opinion,
ting

Nice car man! . I like the stock rims on the C32 so if it was me, I wouldn't be in a hurry to change 'em.

i would change them. never liked the look of them, i think the way that they curve in makes the wheels look smaller...
just my opinion

thanks guys for the comments

i think that the rim it self looks OK but somehow the way it wraps-in on the front made it look smaller.

i like the 18" twin five spoke on this new CLK55 but MB had told me it won't fit on my car. i guess i'll have to wait it out.

if i do change the wheels the oem will go onto my sister's CLK320 if not she will get the AMG type CL in 17"

timorgan: yes those are the oem lights

i think you should lose those wheels... in my direction i really like them. only a few c32s around anyway. only thing is that i wish they were 18"

if not those, i'd get the carlsson 1/16s or HREs

i'd also get a flat hood ornament.

What size of wheels you are considering? I say, go for 19" and drop it with H&R. BTW, do you live/study near San Diego?

actually i only plan on going to the 18' and not droping the car since i'm usually at my school (UCR) and we have a lot of dips and bumps.

Frank, keep the AMG split spoke wheels !!! I bought a set for the C320 and luv them ! Yeh yeh they should be 18" but hell its only an inch.

DO NOT TOUCH THE AMG SUSPENSION !!!

hehhehe.....IMO that is !!

Guess how many C32's I've seen around....one !!!!!

and it of course was SILVER.

Yo, I went to UCR too. Typical BioMed program for 2 years before switching to business & moving to Chicago. You think the roads are bad, come out here. You just have to know how to drive over dips and bumbs. Don't sacrifice the looks of your car because of a few dips & bumps. The minimal things you need to do to your car is to LOWER it and, yes, CHANGE your wheels. At least 18". I'm waiting on the 18" AMG mult-piece. Don't forget to go wider in the back. If you find at least a 9.5" wheel for the back, you can throw on 265's without any problems since our cars have had their fenders rolled at the factory. Lowering the car makes the stock wheels bearable since the gap between the wheel & fender is smaller, the wheel looks a little bigger.

Changing the suspension has to be done right though. Since there is no suspension kit (yet) designed specifically for the C32, change your springs ONLY. The stock AMG dampers are better than those that come with cupkits (they are designed to support the additional engine weight). I couldn't wait so I threw on a set of Carlsson springs. I'll upgrade the suspension again later when it becomes available. For now, they look tight. Big difference in look, and an improved difference in handling. They are not quite as stiff as H&R's so the ride is almost as comfortable as stock.

thanks guys

if i do want to lower the car anytime in the future i think i'll wait for the AMG suspension when it is available.

BrabusCclass:

i have seen your car's picture too...she looks great with the Brabus bodykit and i heard about what happened with your paint. hope you can get it all nice and shiny again.

BTW do you have engine mods? what kind of numbers (hp & torque) are you getting on the dyno?
