Cool California Rental Car?
Ok, I'm trying to get down to LA sometime mid-late August and was wondering where I could get a semi-cool reasonably priced rental. (Cooper S, etc.) Any suggestions (both on the car & rental agency).
I almost considered driving down from the GTA (and I'm sure it would have been a blast!) but then I did a quick Mapquest search and realize that its a +4,000km trip each way in addition to my "California" drives.... next time
Also, I didn't want to pay SMG $500/day for his AMG as it would get expensive over a 2 week period
BTW don't know if any of you guys would like to meet up, even though I will be AMG-less when I'm down there

yup I have used them as well.
Their SL55 rental is a relative bargain compared to all the other rentals available but is still expensive at 600/day.
The 350Z is pretty inexpensive.
