Still confused about the front bumper cover...

Ok, I have reasonable intelligence and have searched various threads for the answer. I've been looking for a slightly more aggressive front bumper for my C55. If I purchase a bumper made to fit a CLK 55 of the same year it should bolt right up, right? I see threads about CLK 63 upgrades with different mounting hardware requirements $$. I just want to put a bolt on replacement. Thanks in advance!

Well Jeff you are in the wrong place. You oughta be talking with bumper suppliers and asking them your question. Ever thought of that!!

Hey Jeff, I am interested in what you found out there in terms of replacement bumper covers. Did you locate something a little racier looking like the CLK63 or go with OEM? Please advise what you went with and if you would recommend it after your install experiences, if you have a moment. I am deciding whether to repair a heavily cracked lip or go with a new one myself. Cheers!

I ordered both a rear and a front from JD at Bodykits.com.... I ordered a little different than stock though. I ordered a CLK 63 "look" that will bolt right up in place of the stock without any need for additional parts and a rear bumper cover that looks like stock except it has louvered sides. Not really a radical change, but subtle... Great customer service too! Answered all of my questions knowledgeably.
Part numbers
Rear Duraflex 108245
Front Duraflex 108822
with shipping from California $899.00

Rear is easy for someone with a little bit of bodywork experience.
