Standard Radio or Command Navigation?

I am currently looking into purchasing a C55 AMG. It will be my first Mercedes-Benz! I went to the dealership the other day and put a deposit that is fully refundable on one of their extra allocation C55 AMG’s. The sales associate that I spoke to told me that it would come with the standard radio instead of the Command Navigation. Is the Command really worth the extra money and wait? I currently have a Garmin GPS StreetPilot that I just move from car to car when I go on a trip. Just curious if the Command offers anything else that might be worth me waiting for a little longer.

The COMMAND is a fine system. The display is top notch. The UI is easy to operate. I like having two hidden drives, one dedicated to the DVD map disc, another for audio.

For me, this system is worth the money and the wait.

The ONLY down side, when compared to the PCM2 in my Cayenne, the NAV data has less stores and businesses on-file.
