am selling my 2006 C55 AMG. This is a California car that I have owned for about 2.5 years and put about 20,000 miles on it. I moved to Illinois in late 2018 but its never seen snow. There is ZERO rust on this car. Overall it is in amazing shape. I really baby my cars as you can see in the pictures. Here is a rundown of the car. Dark blue paint – looks black if you don’t look very hard. 187k miles – high miles but well maintained. Engine and transmission are known to be bulletproof. Selling because I am moving and am losing a garage spot. Asking $7500.

Parts replaced by me: All OEM or equivalent from FCP Euro

· Oil changed every 5k with Liqui Moly 5W40

· Fog lights (bulbs and housings)

· Window washer fluid pump/seal

· Xenon headlight bulbs (6k) and ballasts

· (4) Front control arms (upper and lower)

· Tie rod ends

· Napa Legend AGM battery (still under warranty)

· Crankshaft position sensor (bosch)

· Rear struts

· Sway bar links

· Engine/Cabin air filters

· Engine oil cap seal

· Front brake rotors (Zimmerman) and pads (Brembo)

· Rear brake pads (Brembo)

· Serpentine Belt

· Power steering reservoir/seal

· Oil Cooler gasket

· Timing cover gasket

· 4 Tires last year (~4000 miles on them) continental DSW06 extreme contact all seasons

· Shifter assembly chrome bezel

· Shift knob emblem (AMG) and boot (new leather)

· Resonated deleted for slightly better sound

· Front grill is currently wrapped – chrome underneath had started to bubble

· Bosch wiper blades

· MAF/Throttle body cleaned

Work done at the dealer:

· 10/2020 Valve cover gaskets and breathers/hoses ($886)

· 2016 (@140k miles) – Transmission conductor plate at dealer ($1200)

· SOS program deactivated – no warnings on dash

· Alignment after tires

· Sunroof recall 10/2020

Sound system: Sounds amazing! Cost about $2000 installed

· Full system upgrade in 2019 including

o Kenwood 2020 model android auto/apple carplay unit (DMX4707s)

o Steering wheel controls programmed

o JBL 5 channel amp installed behind carpeting in rear fender

o JBL 6.5” component speakers in front doors

o JBL 5.25” coaxial speakers in rear doors

o 10” JBL subwoofer in trunk

o Hidden subwoofer volume knob in ashtray panel

o Backup camera

o Satellite radio

Pros:

· Literally zero issues with the car mechanically. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country.

· No tunes or aftermarket parts.

· Paint is in good shape but has some swirls. I would say 8/10.

· Seats/interior is in great shape as well. There is some wear on the steering wheel, but its in good shape overall 8/10

· Everything works – rear sunshade, windows, sunroof, all bulbs, seat heaters

· No warning lights on dash

· No leaks

· Fresh oil change will be done before vehicle is sold (5k intervals)

· Front license plate never installed – No holes!

Cons:

· Passenger seat has a seam that could be restitched (see picture) – Its been this way since I owned it and hasn’t gotten any worse

· Passenger side rear interior window tint is scuffed from something rubbing against it (see picture)

· Paint on spoiler is slightly faded underneath current carbon fiber wrap

Miscellaneous:

· Comes with 2 working keys, but the spare one could use the plastic case replaced.

· Comes with original manuals/books

· Interior wood panels are currently wrapped in brushed aluminum vinyl, but wood underneath is in good shape, I just didn’t like the look.

· Engine hand built by Giuseppe de Giuseppe for those AMG folks.

· Wheels were professionally refinished in gunmetal by previous owner
I don't see any pictures...

I see the “power steering reservoir seal” was changed. Did you do it yourself? If you did, how difficult was the job?

thanx

Yeah, I did it myself. Pretty easy job, but difficult to seat the seal properly. Search and you can find the correct procedure.
