Transmission oil temperature (sensor) does it exist on C55?

Hi guys!

hope u all doing good.

I’m wondering if our c55’s has transmission oil temperature sensor? (such like engine oil temp and coolant temp?) “I’m not sure also if it does have a transmission cooler)?

I don’t know when my transmission oil get hot or not therefore I’m curios to know this point.

It will be a good add if we can check transmission oil temp

please advise if you have any idea.

thanks in advance!!

Cheers!

It is cooled via cooling lines run to the radiator, so it does not have an isolated oil cooler.

you can monitor transmission temps with a good scan tool through the obdII port.

in my experience before manual swap, even when pushing the car, never had an issue with trans getting hot. VRP makes a good higher capacity trans pan with cooling fins I would look into before getting an isolated trans fluid cooler.
