???? knocking noise???
whenever i wake up in the morning whether the temperature outside, i go to start my car and it starts up just fine. as soon as i start moving forward and pushing the gas pedal i hear a slight distinct tapping sound. if i come to a stop it goes away completely. i know that i need a new belt tensioner for the supercharger but should i be worried about a blown head gasket or something? when i speed up past 10 mph the sound will go away and after 30 seconds to a few minutes it goes away completely and doesnt make the sound at all no matter the speed im going. i read online that a loose belt can cause a slight tapping sound that goes away after a few minutes, which is exactly my case. any help? (this only happens after i am away from the car from 5-6 hours. once i come back in the morning it makes the sound again then goes away for the rest of the day.makes the sound again then goes away for the rest of the day.
