225/40F
245/35R

The gas cap indicates to put 33/37psi, but I put 35/39, even w/ the increase in psi, somehow the fronts always look a lil' flat....

well, DbleNckel said it's the same size as you posted. So i'm not too sure now.

but for us C32 who's upgrading to 18s we're running 255/35 rear to keep the circumference the same/close to oem as possible. Also, before AMG changed the format of their site, they used to have the size of the wheels and tires on there, and they said 255/35 for the 18s rear.

245 35 18 is a new size for 18's that most manufacturers still don't make, with only a few in the market at this time.

225 40 18 / 245 35 18 is much closer to stock than 235/255's. 225/255 would be the next closest with less spread front to rear. 235/255's alter the front to rear balance the most, at a difference of .38" vs the stock .26". BMW prefers to equip its M3 with 225/255's to get the closest spread between the front and rear, which is .06". The 235/265 combo would be the next choice with a difference of .10" front to rear. In 17" sizes, the 235/255 upgrade works much better in the math calculation with only a .29" difference.

225 45 17 = 24.97" diameter
225 40 18 = 25.08"
235 40 18 = 25.40"

245 40 17 = 24.71"
245 35 18 = 24.75"
255 35 18 = 25.02"
265 35 18 = 25.30"

I took a closer look on my C55 RHD made in SA

Stock Pzero tires
225/40 18"
245/35 18"

and, tire pressure psi as written on the fuel tank cover
F33/R35 for 3 persons
F33/R38 for 5 persons

therefore, I have no idea why some here said their stock tires are 225/255

Mine came with 225/40 and 255/35 and some of the CLK55's on the dealer's lot have this size too. I think MB is using 2 different size tires on the rear. Could be either production availability or last minute change. Those pressures are a joke though. They always set up the rear too high & front too low for optimum handling.

Most ppl here have been very helpful, by no means that a war should be here.

BTW, the tire pressure of C55 is behind the fuel tank cap, not at the doors.

I also don't agree fortune people here can drive a MB should make joke with the blinds

Please enlighten me if I have said something wrong here.
