Hi everyone, so I have a 2002 c32 that’s stuck in 1st . I replaced the conductor and the shifter module but still doesn’t work. I’ve been at this for sometime and am just wondering if anyone has some advice or has gone through the same with their vehicle. Thanks 🙏

I'd check the module under the carpet in the passenger footwell and make sure the ATF has not wicked to it, if yes clean the connectors. Also, check ATF level, p0715 got triggered when i had low ATF in diverse other benzes, not necessairly the conducter plate issue

Hi, I am having this exact same issue on my C32. I checked ATF level and it looked OK using a dipstick but I'm inclined to do a ATF service just to make sure I am not misreading the levels. But I am now thinking if I am going to do that, it might be worth just changing the conductor plate at the same time. @Jcruz559 have you had any luck? How accessible is the module under the carpet you mention?

Sorry, just to add to this. When I had low ATF in my W208 CLK430 (same gearbox), it would drop out of gear and stay in neutral until I reached a standstill so I don't think low oil is the issue. On my instrument cluster, it doesn't show the gear or mode selected i.e. where it would say S/D, I see blanks. This is leading me to think that the shifter module is at fault here. I am thinking to swap over the modules between the CLK and C32 to see if the issue goes away.

haven’t had the time to check under the passenger footwell. Hopefully today, but no luck. I changed the conductor plate and the shifter module. Both were fairly easy and straightforward.
