c32 amg clutched pulley wont disengage

supercharger clutched pulley is spinning at idle and wont turn off. shop told me i needed a new supercharger and the price i dont even want to speak about. could this be fixed with just another pulley or maybe bearing ussue? they told me that the supercharger is engaged and is not disengaging at idle i have never heard of this issue nor can i find any information about it stuck engaged just not engaging (i see posts about lack of power, instead i still have power but the supercharger is constantly there boost is supposed to kick in at 2800 rpm or so but mine is engaged at a meer 700 rpm) also could i cause harm to my engine by having this, would a fixed pulley and a tune fix my problem?

Can you fit a thin feeler gauge between the clutch and the pulley when the car is switched off?
Is the bearing of the pulley still OK, or is it jammed?

I think it’s normal that your supercharger spins at idle. My supercharger also spins a bit at idle, even though the clutch is disengaged. I can stop it by manually holding the black part (watch your fingers!), so I assume it because of the air that’s flowing through the supercharger.

check for example also https://youtu.be/4RT65JTizOo

you can see it starts spinning as soon as the engine is started

😳😳😳 wow this makes me feel like the shop I’m taking my car to is not diagnosing it accordingly... my car acts exactly the same. They told me that the clutch should stay completely disengaged while at idle and should engage at 2800 rpm but if you look at it that doesn’t make sense because the belt is connected to it and that is connected to everything. Maybe I’m just mixed up here because the shop didn’t say anything to me about it until I brought it up

I had a lot of the same kind of material coming from the bearing when it was worn/ almost stuck. The material was mainly located at the front, near the edge of the bearing
