Anybody knows if there're thicker sway bars available than the current AMG one on the C32?

To my knowledge, no. There is a sway bar upgrade coming out from Eibach for the w203, but I would imagine that they will be the same diameter as the C32 sway bars.

Have you already changed your suspension? If not, you may find that changing your springs and shocks will make you much more satisfied with the car's cornering stability.

Thanks,

Ben

Others have said the same thing - the car corners pretty flat as it is.

vadim (@evosport) has fooled with the C32 at length and indicated the best thing for the car is new set of H&R springs and thats it.

(well maybe wheels and tires, but we're talking suspension here)

(maybe a pulley kit too)

(and maybe ...)

Actually, I am looking into some beefier sway bars. First prototypes should be in by July.

Thicker sways are a good idea
It is very surprising that a thicker sway is not available already. The C32 can use a little help in that area. Plus understeer can be addressed. Thicker sways will decrease body roll without degrading ride quality as much as springs, and could be used by some folks instead of lowering. Others might just lower, and some would do both. If I had the chance I would do sways first and lowering second.

I agree.

C32 already comes with beefier bars, but I think it can use about 20% more roll stiffness. I am going to make them adjustable, so they can be tuned to individual driving style.

the sway bar does make a difference in cornering. You will have a faster response to your steering wheel. I posted something on suspension and i gave two example on how much of a difference two bars can offer you.
