The Adventure Begins
Picked up my car last night. I ordered every option except wood and had a K-40, Tint and clear bra installed by the dealer. The phone for the car won't be available for a few weeks. I had only seen cars in Black and Silver before but at first glance at Granite I was thrilled.
Here are a few pics....

Congrats on the new ride. Great choice on color.
Now that I've seen pictures of yours.....I'm really starting to Jones.
Have my AMG hood emblem and W209 grill (chrome on black) ready to install on arrival. Can't wait.
Enjoy

I hope you do not baby the engine and end up with a crappy piston ring to cylinder seal.
The best think for your car NOW is to warm it up throughly and then full throttle through the gears and this must be done over and over again.
Otherwise it will be a nice running car with a little bit of blowby past the rings and be down some 10-20hp.

NICE! i love the K-40! I never realized how blue that color looks. Did it come with that flat hood emblem? looks like a AMG one also.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
Frozen:
It is 3M film. All the film companies are good these days the trick is the installer. Our cars have more difficult than average bumpers to wrap so experience is key. Mine had a few imperfections that I'm having redone. Be sure to have the area behind the door handle and the door edge covered.
North 44: You obviously have impeccable taste. Would love to see that grill.
Speedy: The manual and the windshield sticker are specific about keeping revs below 4500 RPM and avoiding kickdown during the first 1,000. I'm sure this has been discussed, but what's right here??
Black Coupe: You sure know your radar.
In all the MB brochures and on the MBUSA website it says that the C55 has Driver's adjustable lumbar support. Has anyone found a control for this? Have put a call in to MB as my dealer insists that it does not exist.

Looks great! Congratulations.
I have 2 questions.
1. Did you have your dealer install the K40?
2. How do you like the C55 compared to your M5?
cheers

Congrats
Brave color - as C&D says gentlemen in huge boss suit. who knows your car is as fast/faster as the 911/E8.
Just I did not notice Parktronic sensors and Moonroof while you mentioned it is "all options".
Have a nice ride.

Living large as that Huge Hugo Boss....that's me.
Americans have to watch where they're going when they back up because Parktronic is not available. Moonroof is standard however.
If I were Czar for a day, I would have a C55 Luxe edition created with an E or S level interior and the C size and maneuverability. Also a Sport edition would be nice with better handling and performance numbers. With the money people spend on mods, it would be great for AMG to build it initially.
As to that brave color, it's not a traditional hot sports car color but I've received nothing but compliments on it already. Looks great with the Chrome accents and the Red taillights.

Absolutley beautiful car. Enjoy it, and maybe I'll
see you on 400 or the Atlanta autobahn-285 sometime!
Just FYI, I took my c32 up into Jasper last week. There's a great mountainous, curvy road called state road 53 that you would probably love.
I know that Atlanta Classic has a brand spanking new dealership. I haven't been to it yet, but I've heard that it was very nice. If you have your oil changed at 1000 or whenever, request that the service advisor puts "no test drive necessary" on the ticket. Call me paranoid, but I feel a lot better knowing that no one has driven my car to it's limit and beyond after getting serviced. I'm just as wary with valets after watching "Ferris Bueler's Day Off" over the years.

I saw SL350 , CLK500, Ferrai in your gentleman color. Very classy. Now I see your C55. Very classy too.
