Strange MPG, I have consistantly gotten at least 250 miles per tank, and I am NOT easy on the car. I guess Ive been averaging around 17 mpg. Even on a trip to MD from NY I made it on one tank, 271 miles and still made it to 336 miles. I was very much on E and was praying to find a gas station. It did say Distance 0 miles

I am on 330km per tank as we have more city drive
long trips over 200km usually means you will enjoy the maximum fuel economy regardless how hard you drive as most time you are at 5th gear that will average out those low gears.

I have recommended this before, try contacting Jim Anderson, internet sales at Keyes MBZ in SoCal, he will get you a great deal and they had about 5 C55 when I bought mine. Jim got me a great price.

Neo,
My C55 came with the Birdseye maple trim and I have to tell you that I think it adds a huge difference to the interior. It gives it a much more upscale look over the standard silver/tech trim. I got a matching shift level and it really looks teriffic. If you get a chance check it out. I'm not shure if or how it can be added after the fact. joe

Where did you find a matching shift level?

I agree. I wanted the aluminum trim but there wasn't a white C55 available in the region with that configuration so I "settled" for the Birdseye trim. Looking back I'm glad that happened because it appears to be the better choice IMO. Now if only my car came with the Premium Package.

Do you have pics of the matching shift level?

Welcome to the board, and welcome to the C55 hopefully. Gas for me can range anywhere from 15-20 MPG. While doing avg. city/freeway driving i can get 220-250 miles. I like to think that i drive fairly hard, and use my gas quicker than it should go. Long freeway drives I.E vegas. i can get upwards of 330+ avg. 80+ MPH. Hope that helped a bit.

I got mine from Performance Products. It was not cheap, almost $200 I think. But it looks fantastic,it's a perfect match to the OE trim. joe
