yes it is possible to run 225-45-17 in rear on your OE amg rim. in fact, you need to run both front and rear w/ spec above. i have a C55 and am running those on both front and rear on 17 in C32 amg rims.

I bought my tires last year from TireRack and went with the same size all around versus staggered on my E55. They recommend that you never stagger winter tires. I would highly recommend the new Dunlope WinterSport M3 tire. It was rock soild during last winter when driving in 3-4 inches of snow with all that HP&TQ

MB recommended 225/45-17 on all four even in you use the stock C32 wheels (staggered) and thats what I used last winter.
This year, I may replace the rear 225's with 245/40. The car sucks in the snow either way so it might as well look better while sucking

My ex-cars: 03 E55,04 C32, 05 C55 ,03 E320
I want to sell my set of 4 winter tires and rims.
They are the ones you see on tirerack.com
17 inch 203 AMG 5 spoke with pirelli winter sport 210.
The tires are still very new as I didn't use them that much.
Anyone from Boston area who wants to buy them?
they will fit C32s and C55s
1200$ or best offer.
PM me if interested
