Question Something doesn't want me to sell

Tree branch

So i finally decided to sell my 2006 C55 and I found this today. It looks like it could pop back out - any tricks? It may be accessible from the inside by pulling out the side panel below the headliner. Should I leave it for a pro metalbeater?
This paint is amazing for 16+ years - not a crack anywahere. I was looking at BaT, but they seem to have low-mile garage queens. Mine has 98K and several small dings (this one much the worst) so I am trying to emphasize 10 years of dealer service records. My service rep of 10 years just retired; he really helped me. $7439 over all that - why am I selling this?
My wife wants to cut down to one SUV when she retires soon and the C55 needs someone to use it. I'm trying to talk her into a GLA45.... I'm addicted to AMG.

PDR. Paintless dent removal.

Leave the removal to a pro. Search your area or contact one of the major collision shops and get a phone number for someone they use.

I was thinking about pouring hot water on it while cold, but I don't want to risk anything. I suppose I'll leave it for the next owner. It looks terrible but it's probably a $200 fix.
I've parked outside for all these years and nothing happens until now... Also, the auction market for C55 seems to have cooled suddenly. Should I wait to sell until spring? I'm not in a rush but now I worry every clunk in the night.... It was easier when this car was only worth $4K.

if you're not in a rush then I would wait til it warms up. market should be a bit better then. Could give you some extra time to get the dent fixed as well.

Also, i tried this method for a similar dent on my r350. it came out with no problems when using just a plunger. They sell cheap kits with smaller suction cups that could get a better grip for the type of dent you have

Well, I tried submitting to Bring a Trailer and they weren't interested. Maybe the dent?
Also, my wife decided to wait until later next year to retire - she wanted to cut down to one SUV. I don't want to sit home (retired) or drive her to work for months.
Overall, I'm getting a clear signal that I just have to suffer with this old car for now. Oh, poor me!
I wanted to keep it anyway; at least through spring, summer, fall... winter not so much. I have to clear my garage and park inside.

I think BaT likes lower mileage cars but surprised they didn’t have interest in a 98k mile C55. Bet you’d have better luck on Cars and Bids. That said, this is probably the worst time of the year to sell a car, especially a car like the C55. You’re better off waiting until spring imo.

Since I made an effort to take pictures:
Just hit right-arrow to scroll; only 28. I had it waxed and got home as the light was fading, so they aren't my best. Maybe that hurt.
I'll wait until next year - it doesn't have any problems now and isn't costing much so no rush. I'll try to get the dent fixed - that bugs me.

Sorry about that post - my link-fu isn't so good here. Left-arrow will scroll through the car shots.
Click on the image to go to Flickr for a better view. Be careful wandering.

realistically 100,000 miles isn’t a low mileage car.
