Look here for instructions

I'm doing the exact same thing. Look here for directions to take out the vents/trim panel:

I just took mine apart and although some people claim that the Fiber Optic Cable is in the back trunk underneath a cover, I looked in mine and didn't find it so I'll just buy it (I think it's in the $20-$30 range). Anyhow, since it's Fiber Optic, the entire system has to complete a fiber optic ring so it's not like the traditional CD changers from other companies where only one wire goes from the deck to the CD changer. I'm trying to get the wire from a dealer soon and will update the status.

Good luck!
BTW, where are you located? I'm in the SF/Bay area.

Hey Panjiyw,
I almost completed my install but couldn't find the power cable. Here's a link to some good step by step instructions. Also, there should be an extra fiber optic cable in your trunk as I found out today. Mine was labelled "SPS Out" and "SPS In" on the cable. It's orange and both ends are plugged into each other so it's basically a circle. It's zip tied in 3 places and also held together by red take to 2 or 3 more orange fiber optic cables too. You'll need to take off the plastic shielding to get access to these wires.

(although it says for phone installation, don't worry, the CD changer installation instructions are on there too)

Also, please let me know if you find out what the power cable looks like and where you find out in the dash, I can't seem to find mine.
good luck!
